Ron Kirkwood served in the Army for 22 years. Ten of those years conducting driving tests for all arms of the services.

Driving Instructors are graded by the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) on a regular basis. They are graded on the qualiy of their driving tuition from 1 very poor to 6 whch is excellent.

Since qualifying in 1987 Ron Kirkwood has been consistantly graded 5/6 and has never dropped below grade 5.
